Fran Cook, who died on March 16, had been a Thresholds volunteer for more than 25 years.
During that time she taught both Micro and Macro classes, led Volunteer Training Workshops, was our Executive Director and President of the Board.
Above all she was a dear friend, a caring teacher and an inspiration to clients and teachers alike.
It is appropriate that she is pictured with Mickey Burglass. He is our founder and she is emblematic of those whose dedication has made Thresholds the vital organization it is today.
Thresholds is what it is today as a result of her direct guidance and nurturing support throughout the years.
Our organization stands on the shoulders of Fran Cook.
